A Budget is a Moral Document

A budget reflects what we truly value, said Joe Gunn, presenting ISARC’s brief to the Ontario Government’s Pre-Budget Consultations in Ottawa  Jan.22. The brief, entitled “Making the Best Investment Possible: People”, noted how poverty costs us all, and refuted the perception that the government can’t afford to do more to help the poor. “Governments and societies can always find the resources they need for their priorities.”
